Emergency crews were called to the M80 near junction 2 where a crash occurred on the southbound lane around 2.35pm on Friday afternoon.
Police and emergency services remain in attendance.
Lane 1 of 2 is currently blocked and drivers are urged to be careful on approach.
It is not currently known if anyone was injured in the crash.
Police Scotland, Scottish Ambulance Service, and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been asked for comment.
